Finally...Test realm!

Its that time again, when Test realm is back into Wizard101, and we can experience a new world, and new MAGIC SPELLS!!
According to Headmaster Ambrose, Morganthe has travelled back to her home world, hoping to reach the Celestial Choir. In this world, There's lots of Bees, Golitahs, Weavers, etc. But there's MORE new things, wizards that are in certain areas get special companions that BOOST Health AND Resist. There's lots of them, for example: Dyvim WhiteHart. After a while, you can start to see that the world is mainly taken over the Umbra Legion... everyone wants to serve Morganthe!
About the Shadow magic, Now we can enhance spells.. like Sun spells.. but more similar to Moon spells.
Shadow magic morphs you into a Seraph, Sentinel, or a normal Weavers..The Seraph will give absorbs for any heal that you cast on you or a friend.
Sentinal gives pierce, and damage.
while the Strike gives lots of pierce as well.
But with this magic comes a consiquence, BACKSLASH. Backslash is decided on if the Shadow spells like your future spells.
Some spells deal more of your maximum health if you heal, or sometimes if you use too many bubbles,
But there's also a way to DECREASE the chance of you getting backslash, All backslash deal 30% of your health,
BUT, There's more, If you cast spells the Shadow magic likes, the Backslash will go from 30%, to 20%, to 10% and maybe even 0%.
Remember that Mega Snack Packs will NOT be available.
Also there's something ELSE that's new.... CASTLE TOURS!! You can decorate your castle, mazed-castle, or anything decorating-based, and put them on display so others can see!
There's a few category for castles, well-decorated, maze, etc. So make sure to check that new feature out in Test Realm!

November is coming soon!

Halloween is almost over, meaning that its time to for THANKSGIVING!! Soon in Wizard101 there will be the turkey hat, robe,and shoes, with some other special wands and maybe even more fun events than other years.
On to other news, recently there's been a lot of rumors about a life spell called "Life fuel".. Could that possibly be a link to our next utility spell set, or maybe a special spell for all schools? There's lots of possibilities to what that "Life fuel" spell might mean. I also heard there's a bumble bee house, and pet, etc, That sure does sound interesting!

Keeping your account(s) safe

Has your account ever been stolen, "hacked", or taken? Well, This doesn't happen naturally. Some wizards fall for the tricks some other players try to pull, just to steal your account(s). If you ever have someone asking you for any private message, DO NOT TRUST THEM!! Just email KI directly about it. They will most likely help you with this issue. Even though others may offer crowns, membership, or other items, they are most likely lying. So always remember to keep your account safe by never sharing any private info! If KingsIsle discovers that you have shared info, they will take disciplinary actions on your account, by preventing the trickster to roam in your accounts, scamming/tricking other people.

Since its that Special month of the year where the whole spiral is filled with Hallowe'en Spirit, Official fansites are here to help you with it! From October 1st to October 31st, all fansites will have different contests including poetry, Drawings, screenshots, and random raffles! Do you want one of the new HALLOWE'EN MOUNTS? Could the next world be PRE-Celestia?

I've read many theories on the upcoming world in Wizard101 but only one seemed credible and actually plausible. The theory I'm talking about is the one that Johnny and a few other community members came up with, Pre-Celestia. I'm sure the name is no surprise by now, as the teaser image that was revealed a few days ago did have a Celestian feel to it. It would be different if we actually TRAVELED back in time to see how Celestia was before it sunk into the water by the great Storm Titan.

We know that Morganthe wanted to get her hands on the Astral Magic of Celestia, but ultimately failed to get them. The theory (In the link above) If you don't remember any segments of Celestia's history or aren't familiar with it, you can read it here

Halloween update

Have you been waiting for Halloween all month? Well we're almost there! in two days all the Halloween events will come to Wizard101. World Rhino Day

Rhinos are being hunted for their precious horns which gives a "medicinal" value. But horns are made from the same stuff that  makes your fingernail and hair. It offers no medical cure for anything. Unfortunately, merchants just want to cash in on this.
                                                                                       There's FIVE Rhino Species:  

Javan Rhino - There are less than 50 Javan Rhinos. The Vietnamese and Indian Javan are extinct. Just 50 left? Lets hope that they are safe somewhere now.

Sumatran Rhino - There are less than 200 Rhinos. Their habitat is being destroyed because farmers are using it to produce and sell palm oil. Palm oil is nothing compared to an Animal's life. So they should use the land they already have, and not ruin the Animal's habitat.

Black Rhino - There are 4,860 left. The West African Rhino subspecies became extinct in 2006.

Indian/One-Horned Rhino - There are about 3,000 left. 

White Rhino - There are only SEVEN Northern White Rhinos left. The Southern White Rhino are about 20,000, thanks to conservation efforts. (That's really close to extinction, I really hope those LAST SEVEN Northern White Rhinos are kept safely in a Wildlife program.)

Some interesting facts about Rhinos would be:
1.Rhinos have existed on Earth for 50 Million years!2.The Greater One-Horned Rhino can reach 6.5 Feet Tall!
3.Rhino horns are made of Keratin like hair and fingernails. (Well, that certainly is interesting.)

4.The entire Rhino Population has been decreased by 95% since 1970 due to poaching and loss of shelter and space

(That's really bad, Lets hope that they can reproduce, since it wouldn't be so great if they went extinct.)

According to scientists, At the current rate of poaching rhinos could disappear by 2026, All the poaching is really bad for the Rhinos, specially because they use them for money. and possibly kill them for their horn, or other supplements.

Have you been seeing some Tournaments that say "0 Crowns"? Don't worry, we all have. Its currently a problem that happened with Wizard101's update, but no need to worry.  They will be fixing everything on the next update. Also, there's been a lot of complains about them removing "AFK" and other types of IMs. But as Professor Rose told one of the players, They will be fixing it. Last but not least, Some players seem to go CRAZY over the fact that they accidently removed a lot of the IMs, even if they know it was a mistake.

 Been looking forward to the new world? Well turns out it might be coming VERY soon! Some people have been spreading rumors about a world coming out in the Fall. Lets hope it true. This is a message from one of the KI workers:

"We appreciate that our players want the story to continue to expand, and it will, but we do not release our timeline or our plans. You'll know more about what's coming in the Spiral when the Test Realm opens later this year."

Doesn't look like the new world is coming out anytime soon, so my guess is that we might test this upcoming content this Fall (either November or December), considering October will be a busy month in the Spiral with the Halloween events and new quest.

There's been a lot of rumors about Wizard101 ending at level 101. This is NOT true at all.

When asked if Azteca was the last world in Wizard101, our amazing community manager, Professor Greyrose, reassured the players saying:

"What makes you think there will ever be a finale?

Wizard101's first chapter began in Wizard City, and culminated with the defeat of Malistaire. Wizard101's second chapter began in Celestia with the introduction of Morganthe. 

We're still only in the second chapter of this story of the Spiral...there are many chapters to come!"

I honestly hope to see new worlds and different updates soon. I also can not wait until the "Death gate" secret is revealed. But we all have to be patient, We will find out soon!

Have you ever looked at that Death gate in Haunted cave and wondered what was inside? I have! Last time Dworgyn gave us a quest that could not be finished, But there's been some suspicions about the "Foul-looking" vegetables there. What will the next world be? Evil vegetables trying to take over Wizard city? We are about to find out! As we get closer to Mid-September, We are getting closer to the special surprise Wizard101 has planned for us. I can't wait until we see what's in stored.

Wizard101's 5TH birthday

Its time to celebrate Wizard101's 5th amazing year of entertainment~Huzzah! I've certainly had an AMAZING time playing both Wizard101 and Pirate101, If you asked me which is better...I couldn't one. KingsIsle workers got their Players' feedback and decided to change the way the "Pet spell cards" are charged when pets level. This is what Professor Greyrose told every young wizard:

"There are currently 8 pets that get different cards as they mature.

• Babydactyl
• Stegosaurus
• Velociraptor
• Therizinosaurus
• Leaf Foot
• Frilled Lizard
• Penumbra Drake
• Harpy

We understand that this is not the expected nor the desired behavior, and in the future we will be changing these pets so that they grant all three spells as the pet matures instead of replacing the spells as the pet matures."

She later added:

"These pets will give three spells (similar to how some amulets give three spells) in an upcoming game content update. This is going to take some fancy programming on our part, so it may take a little longer than our community would like, but it will happen."
